Friends, Romans country men: lend me your ears.
The evil that men do lives after them, the good is oft interred with their bones.
So let it be with Caesar.

Does this relate somehow to Stan Lee? I'm not seeing the connection (beyond the fact that he, like Caesar, died).

He did some very bad things and some very good things and if we are not careful when the dust settles people will only remember the bad ones.

Oh, I see. I misread it was the exact opposite: that you were endorsing Mark Antony's speech and saying that we should see only the bad side of Stan Lee.

The whole point of Mark Antony's speech is that he says only the bad side of Caesar will be remembered, but then goes on to remind the assembled crowd of Caesar's good attributes and rouses them to revenge against his assassins.

Then the problem seems to have been my not knowing my Shakespeare. The short quote that Andrew gave, in isolation, seems to say the exact opposite.
