I kept expecting them to start beating some passerby and for Sergeant Benton to say, "That doesn't look very traditional."

I posted this because I quite like Morris Dancing.

I never had any doubt, but I'm not English. When I see Morris dancing, all I can think of is The Daemons.

I posted the previous post because someone had asked me to post why I was posting things. Since they'd asked me on Facebook, it occurs to me they won't see the comments, so it was rather pointless.

Morris is obviously quite silly, and like lots of things folkie, probably quite artificial. But I like the daftness and the energeticness of it; and I positively like some of the music.

This one, as the fellow said, is dirty:

Not so, not so! As long as I have my RSS-Reader, I follow your blog feed automatically. Admittedly, since you gave some older posts titles, they don't show up again, but they do now appear in the navigation sidebar.

In any case, I believe your audience is smart enough to figure this out.

Do forum comments show up on RSS? I know they don't show up Facebook. Although there can be seperate comment thread on facebook.

This modern idea of showing moving picture on the radio. Will never take off.

Regarding comments in RSS: They show up if you subscribe to them, which is a separate process from the blog feed itself.

Yours would be:

With the advent of Twitter, intensive use of RSS sadly seems to be going the way of the dodo.

By the by, one can read Facebook with RSS:

http://www.facebook.com/help/?topic=subscriptions

They just don't really want you to, because their Newsfeed contains ads and filters.

Morris Dancing is also remarkably sinister, at least in Cornish. The involvement of queer folklorist nationalists, even more so.+theres the unfortunatly-named Furry Dance...

Furry is just a corruption of Floral, isn't it?
